I voluntarily use the title of an essay by Henry David Thoreau, to name the research I am pursuing in the Côtes d'Armor department, where I live, with organic producers. This excerpt perfectly illustrates what I felt when I did a residency in Central Brittany, on a farm. The peasants are connected to the Earth, to which we owe our survival.

Faced with our capitalist and consumerist society, our perceptions are blurred, our senses are caught up and charged by the screens. The colors, the sounds are made in such a way that they implacably capture our attention. So I want to develop a work on astonishment in the face of the environment. I aspire to rediscover the taste of the wild, through beauty, disgust, delight...
