De mai à Décembre, j'ai eu le bonheur de faire deux résidences avec l'association la Fourmi-e coordonnées par Cynthia Guyot, une à la ferme, chez Mathieu et Nolwenn Le Boedec- Castrec , « Les chèvres de Kergonan », Trémargat, Côtes d’Armor, et une autre au collège Edouard Herriot de Rostrenen.
LA FOURMI-E est une association dont le but est de développer des projets autour de la création contemporaine et de la recherche artistique, associant la médiation à la création et à la diffusion d’œuvres, dans le domaine des arts visuels et plastiques.
L’association s’inscrit également dans une démarche territoriale. Elle cherche le plus souvent possible à développer des projets en co-construction avec les acteurs d’un territoire, tant dans la direction artistique des projets que dans leur inscription sur les territoires qu’elle investit.
CHAMP d’EXPRESSION est avant tout une aventure artistique et humaine, une rencontre entre des univers, une invitation à découvrir autrement et à se promener dans cette merveilleuse campagne du Centre Bretagne.
À travers ce projet, ce sont deux visions qui se rencontrent et se confrontent, celle du monde paysan et celle du monde artistique.
Deux Champs d’Expression qui nous proposent une relecture du monde, l’un à travers son travail sur le paysage, l’agriculture dessine et modèle nos campagnes, et l’autre à travers une vision sensible des formes, des couleurs et des matériaux, tantôt détournés, tantôt sublimés…
I had the joy of doing two residencies with the association La Fourmi-e — one on the farm of Mathieu and Nolwenn Le Boedec-Castrec, Les Chèvres de Kergonan, in Trémargat, Côtes-d’Armor, and another at Édouard Herriot Middle School in Rostrenen.
LA FOURMI-E is an association whose aim is to develop projects around contemporary creation and artistic research, combining mediation with the creation and dissemination of works in the field of visual and plastic arts.
The association is also committed to a territorial approach. As often as possible, it seeks to co-construct its projects with local stakeholders, both in the artistic direction and in the way the projects are rooted in the territories they inhabit.
CHAMP D’EXPRESSION is above all an artistic and human adventure — a meeting of different worlds, an invitation to see things differently and to wander through the beautiful countryside of Central Brittany.
Through this project, two visions come together and sometimes clash: that of the farming world and that of the artistic world.
Two Fields of Expression offering us a renewed reading of the world — one through its work on the landscape, where agriculture shapes and sculpts our countryside, and the other through a sensitive vision of forms, colors, and materials, sometimes reimagined, sometimes sublimated.
